RIGHTEOUSNESS: A GIFT TO THE UNGODLY

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

Righteousness is one of the cardinal gifts of God; but did you know that it was a gift to the world and not to Christians? It’s a gift to the ungodly.

The Bible refers to God in Romans 4:5 as One who justifies the ungodly: “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

Notice it didn’t say He justifies the Christians. The Christian didn’t “receive” the gift of righteousness; the Christian was born righteous.

You were born as the righteousness of God when you were born again.

Paul’s submission about righteousness in the Book of Romans, particularly as you’d find in chapter 5 verse 17, is a generic argument on the legality of righteousness as it was accounted to Abraham and therefore to all who believe in Jesus Christ.

We may believe it’s given to “us” as a gift, but that’s not all that God gave us as a gift.

For instance, Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Eternal life is given to sinners, not Christians; that’s what a sinner receives to become a Christian.

A Christian is one who has eternal life, not one who’s “receiving” the gift of eternal life.

The Bible says anyone who believes has eternal life. Once a man believes, right away, eternal life starts up in his spirit.

So, eternal life is no longer being “gifted” to him; he was born with it and into it. He came alive with it when he received Christ. It’s the same with righteousness.

It’s like when you were born of your mother; you didn’t have to first receive the gift of life to become human; you came into existence with life—the human life! Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been said to be alive.

So, in essence, legally, the whole world has been given the gift of righteousness; it’s this gift that, when received, enables one to stand in the presence of God without guilt, fear, inferiority, or condemnation.

Anyone who receives this gift is saved. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the life of glory and dominion I have in Christ. Thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in me.
I have the ability to think right, do right, and produce fruits and works of righteousness, and I reign in life through Christ daily. Amen.

GOD BLESS YOU 🙏

TOO MUCH
AT STAKE!

(Don’t Hold Back:
Get Wild With The Gospel)

TO THE BIBLE Jeremiah 20:9 AMPC
“If I say, I will not make mention of [the Lord] or speak any more  in His name, in my mind and heart it is as if there were a burning  fire shut up in my bones. And I am weary of enduring and holding  it in; I cannot [contain it any longer].”

LET’S TALK
For the Gospel to have gotten to us in our day, some people had to pay the ultimate price. Some ministers and saints of God sacrificed their lives for this  message to get to us.

There was a time in the not-too- distant past when the possession of a Bible either put one  in prison or got one killed. Those who printed Bibles did so in hiding.

Today, we have Bibles everywhere. On your phone,  you could even have many translations.

But this didn’t  happen by chance; it’s the result of the faith, prayers, and labour of many before us.

That’s why it’s important for  us in our day to wake up. We should be inspired by the  examples of those who fought to take the message to  places where the Gospel wasn’t known.

If you’re a prefect in your school, for example, who interacts with your fellow students and teachers, this should inspire you to preach to them.

It makes no  difference whether or not they’re happy to hear your  message. Once you address them, use that opportunity  for influence to preach the Gospel to them.

Don’t let it  bother you that some of them may want to leave your presence because you preached to them. Remember, God  gave you the position of authority in the first place.

Boldly  preach to them, not with the aim of forcing them, but to provide them a chance to hear and believe in Jesus Christ  for salvation.

Think of what others went through fighting for the  opportunities you now have all around you.

The time is  short, and the return of the Master is at hand. Ensure you
take advantage of every opportunity the Lord has given  you to witness to others.

Don’t hold back; get wild with the  Gospel.

               PRAY
Precious Father, I thank you for your Word that burns in my heart and propels me to preach the Gospel and spread your
righteousness around the world.
I refuse to be quiet but take my place in the end-time army as a frontline soldier and a  bearer of divine truths to my world.
I stand firm in the faith,  impacting lives and causing your righteousness and glory to be  established around me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

GOD BLESS YOU 🙏

Let Your Boast  Be In God

This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will  strike you and take your head from you.

And this day I will  give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the  birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

1 Samuel 17:46

Today’s opening scripture were David’s
words. When he stood before Goliath, he  didn’t brag about how sharp his sword was or how skilled he was at using a sling,  no. He bragged in the Almighty God.

As a young boy, David had so much faith  and trust in God, and he wasn’t ashamed  to brag about it.  Like David, learn to make your boast in  your Heavenly Father.

Remember, He’s  the Greater One who lives in you. So, let  those in your world know how mighty your  Heavenly Father is, the One behind all you are and all you have!

Scripture Reading-Psalm 44:8

              SAY THIS
I testify of the Lord’s ability in me;  by His mighty power at work in me,  there’s no
impossibility with me.
Hallelujah!

THIS IS YOUR  DAY
AND ITS HERE AND ITS TODAY GET READY TO RECEIVE YOUR JOY OVERFLOW  💃💃💃

GOD BLESS YOU 🙏
